Watching Steve Jobs present at the Apple WWDC is always interesting stuff. He is a great presenter, made easy by the evangelical following of Apple developers, but nevertheless his style is captivating - smart guy. I recall seeing him unveil his NeXT machine in a cinema in London's West End in the mid 80s, where he walked onto a darkened stage, dressed in black, with the NeXT cube on a black desk, with a small table and a white tulip in a black vase - jeez, cool eh? Even the demo was good - ironic that. Check it out
Of course the comparisons with Apple's new Tiger version of its OS and Longhorn are obvious, which underlines the industry trends towards metadata based search, RSS and integrated Web Services at the desktop. This summarises the issue Good stuff.
